I wanted to post pics in this blog but I haven’t been able to install a photo-processing software in my lapto. You see, my laptop which the hubster bought for me got its OS corrupted.

My husband tried to fix the problem but all leads to re-installing an OS. So he suggested to buy a new OS but we found out softwares are very pricey here. Good thing that when we visited Dick Smith, they had software promotion and we got the OS with 30% off its original price. Call that lucky. *smiles widely*

So all I need to do now is find time to install some of my favorite softwares and get on with my normal keyboard activities.

And after 10 years, I already have my flights booked. So happy to get a booking at minimal cost!!! Thank you Lord.

I’ll be flying Jetstar, to and from. It’s my first time and I’m not sure what to expect. But the people I’ve asked about Jetstar told me it’s fine. So all I need to do get ready packing some things (mostly, pasalubongs for the family).

What’s on TV

I was watching the TV moments ago where they featured ways to keep the homes child-safe. It is informative, albeit commercial and not too thorough. But anyway, I picked up good ideas there on how to make our homes safety for our kids. For instance, I didn’t know that there’s a pot guard for the stove (in case there’s spillage). There’s also an oven/stove knob protectors available.

Moreover, TVs, even with monitor stand can be secured with belt at the back side. They also showed guard for the cupboard, cabinets and stairs. Very good ideas (and products) to keep the home safe for the little ones and timely, I might add since dear son will be coming here in less than a month.

Super Bass

So who has not heard of Nicki Minaj’s song Super Bass? Like it?

Although there have been versions of this song by other people, which can be found in the internet and which are really entertaining (have you seen the rendition of this song by those cute little girls in Ellen DeGeneres’ show?) , this hip-hop/R&B song by Nicki used to be just an ordinary song to me. Yeah, right up until I saw my kids dance to this song.

My sister sent me a video of my kids dancing to the Super Bass song and I’m teary eyed seeing them enjoying the music. It’s fun.

And speaking of music and seeing Selmer products today, I think it is really good to encourage my kids to get interested in music (or to better say it, to play musical instrument/s). It would be fun and entertaining and a good outlet for them. And maybe who knows, one of them gets to be on the stage or be able to entertain people someday. It would be great, it would be great.

Supah Excited

After almost a year, I’ll be seeing my kids again. I miss hugging them and kissing them and I’m just so excited to hop on that plane to see them. I may not be staying in Pinas for long as I will just be fetching my son and bring him back in Sydney, but just the thought of being with my family makes me feel elated.

I’m already checking flights and seeing what can be arranged, so off I go for now. *smiles*
