summer is coming

Hah, winter is gone. The weather is looking good now. I mean I can wear lesser clothes and lighter clothing.

Time to shop for winter clothes and accessories (i.e leather jacket, gloves, and even those Bolle Gravity ski goggles for Blue Mountains trip).

Okay, okay, am I confusing everyone with my previous statements? Hehe. You see, I mean now that winter is out, I think it’s a perfect time to shop for winter stuff because they will be on sale. They won’t be “in” for summer so expectedly, their prices will drop down. So there, I’d love to shop clothes at discounted prices and I know I’d really be getting a bargaun with good stuff when they are off season.

the hub is going home

The hubster is coming to see the kids before he leaves for Syndey. I’m excited for him — if he sees the kids, it seems like I am seeing the kids as well. I know it is difficult for him to leave the kids and we hope we all can be together sooner. For now, I’m just happy that he’s on his way home to see the kids and spend time with them. It will be a riot, I believe.

too fast

Time flies really fast and before we know it, another year has passed. Christmas, New Year and then graduation. BTW, for those who have family members graduating in high school next year, check here for high school grad gift ideas.

Moving forward.

Do you know that as early as September we’ve already set up our Christmas tree? :-) We also have Christmas lights to light up the living area at night as well.

This will be the first Christmas that I’ll be spending away from my son. Sad but I hope in the future, the coming Christmases would be different (I’ll pray). But yes, time runs too fast and I’m holding to the thought that the next bend would be the time when my family will be together again.

Many things remind me of home, not that I needed reminding but y’know what I mean.

One of these is pasta. It’s because MK1 loves to eat pasta i.e spaghetti (which he calls pastaghetti) and I usually cooks pasta for him. Another thing is toys because they are always part of a kid’s life and I just so miss watching my kids play. When I look at some of my photos of them playing, I can’t help feeling so sad. I just miss them. Now when I saw some step stools, I’m also reminded of home because my son is too good at getting a chair/stool as stepper, since we don’t own a proper step stool. Too clever. And because he likes to climb too, like most kids, I’m sure this would be a good investment.

Yay, I am salivating over these berry goodies I found online.

Hmmm, yummy and lovely right? I’m sure this would make anyone berry happy —and thanks to Shari’s Berries promo codes because it’s possible to get a good price for these goodies.

And just for the record… Be it known that next to flowers, these are absolutely something I’d like to have as birthday gifts, especially those full dozen birthday berries. I believe you cannot go wrong with something like these as gifts. And would you believe that there are a handful of choices for every occasion? I’ve seen some of these dipped sweets for Halloween, birthday, anniversary. I’ve also seen some lovely design for weddings, namely: Two Full Dozen Wedding Berries; Tuxedos in Style; 96 Wedding Berries; and the Blushing Brides.

So do you get the message? Lol
