So Matt has an extended summer vacation at home. And he’s making use most of his time biking and watching his favorite DVD, the Winnie the Pooh Series and Pocoyo on Youtube.

I also give him writing activities during my rest days but most of the time, he’s just doing what he wants/likes –bumming in front of the TV or the laptop.

Pocoyo really occupies his time. He’s so  smitten with the cute Pocoyo and his funny friends.I have no objection to this show, seeing that it’s not violent and sometimes,  teaches good behaviour. What I’m just concerned was the fact that maybe he’s watching too much of it. One time, I fell asleep and two hours later, I woke up to see him sprawled on the bed, still watching Pocoyo. Imagine! Good thing he’s still a kid, otherwise he’d be needing the best eye cream for dark circles! Haaaay. His position (all sprawled on the bed) amused me but I am not really amused at his viewing the show even so late at night. (In fairness, he slept after I told him it’s enough na.)
