I have been a slacker in terms of posting an update of my son every 14th of the month but that doesn’t mean I forgot to take note of his development/progress. I don’t. Really.

Anyway, today, I am taking the time to write this post for my four-year-and-four-month-old Matt. Here goes:

Sayote (Pear squash) - the vegetable he likes most now. Give him egg or tuna or shrimp with sayote and he’d eat the dish with much gusto.

Yakult - he can finish 5 bottle (1 pack) of these mini-lacto drinks in one seating! And I bet you he could finish more.

Beef steak - my mother likes to especially cook this for Matt because he so loves it.

Asthma - he has less and less of this now-thanks to Seretide. So the only gadget that we bring out these days is his Babyhaler. Hopefully on our next visit to his pulmo, his dose can be lowered again. We’re really praying to keep the little medical equipment for asthma aka the nebulizer in its box forever!

Pillows - he always likes to build a house (his house he says) out of our pillows

Reading - wonder why he’s not making any noise? Sometimes, I catch him sprawled front on the living room reading. BTW, he can read 3-letter words and even longer words such as scientist, hammer, etc… Okay I must have mentioned that before but isn’t that awesome?

Storytelling - this works both ways now. Sometimes we tell story to him; other times, he likes to be the storyteller. He tells stories about catching police catching criminals, about aliens, etc… and he can go on telling a story for a loooong time! He’s got a very fertile imagination I’m telling you. :-) :-)

Pretending - he likes to pretend he’s something/someone else other than himself. Sometimes, he likes to pretend he’s Ironman, or Optimus Prime or that he’s a baby chick (and I am his Mama Hen and Pops is the Rooster Pops) :-)

So okay, that’s all for now, I enjoy making this post. Hope you have a fun time reading this, too.
