Upon his request (before going to school), I picked my from his school today.  I was few minutes early so I had time to observe Matt, who was quietly sitting Indian style with his classmates. So glad to see this because I know how active Matt is.

After the class was dismissed, the teacher assistant came up to tell me that Matt was kicked (on the mouth) by one of his classmates. The bruise was not too big and I understand how kids are (and the stages they go through) but hey, I’m a mother and I always feel bad when my son is hurt or when someone hurts my son. *sigh*sigh* Anyhow, I kept my  cool and said it’s ok. The good thing about the incident though was that Matt didn’t get back at the classmate for kicking him. :-)
