The Proof
So Pops came home. And after a sweet reunion with pops, I overheard my son confiding to his father, rather not too quietly.
“Mama screamed at me. Mama is high blood!”
P asked, “Why?”
M smugly answered, “Because Matt is hardheaded.”
And then I chose to show up at the moment in a mock-angry stance.
And Matt loudly said, “There! […]
I Want To Be…
The sentence following this line differs every day, even hour depending on my son’s mood.
One dreamy moment:
Matt: I want to be a soldier so I will shoot the bad man.
Wow!
One moment when he was in a cheerful mood:
Matt: Nanay, I wanted to be a secoority (security) guard so I can watch over the people.

Morning Matt-ering
As in the past few days, Matt woke me up this morning with his cheerful “Good morning, Mama!”
I won’t lie. There are times when I wanted to growl at Matt for interrupting my sleep. But I never have the heart to do just that. Always.

Fun Day @ the Pool
With Pops.
We had planned a getaway over weekend but things and tasks popped up at the very last minute. So the plan remained a plan. But so happy that we were able to sneak to the pool before Pops went back to his workbase. Matt was ecstatic, too.
And She Wondered
On our way to the office, we -me, my bro and his Vietnamese fiance (we didn’t bring Matt with us because he’s busy watching Transformers)- were talking about Vietnam. She observe that not all people who drives a motorbike here wear helmets. She wondered whether it was not required of them. She said in Vietnam, […]
Not Too Good Muttering
Sunday morning, we went to hear mass with my parents, Matt and the hub. Oh how I love the Homily! Anyway, our stay was almost uneventful -no milk spills, no crying, no tantrums…get the drift? Okay, almost because later the tot did something that got us -me and Pops- frozen. Matt screamed “Idiot boy!” to […]
