Cutesies
I would have liked to spend the night with my son tonight but I have to work so… I’m posting this instead.
Here are few cute things, Matt’s so fond of telling me these days:
“Mama, we need closure?” I guess he picked the idea from Chicken Little!
“Come here Mama, let’s dance.”
Now he likes to whisper -really […]
In One Gulp
Something happened today. And I totally freaked out. We all freaked out, actually.
Matt ingested the whole of his antihistamine. Everything. It must be about 20ml of liquid antihistamine. I dunno what came into his mind but he gulped everything from the bottle.
And everyone panicked! Oh kids! They sure are going to make your heart flip!
We […]
Blues
I was a little sad yesterday because I wasn’t with Matt whole day.
Maybe guilty (again!) is the apt word.
I worked early and he’s still sleeping when I left the house. Technically -because he woke at so early asking me “Mama, are you not going to work?” I wanted to get him back to […]
Matt-ering About A Busted Internet Connection

He made “texting motions” on […]
Here is the toy that was
I mentioned about Matt breaking his toy-breaking record early this year.
So I found it in the trash one day. After Matt broke it, I had placed it in this green paperbag and completely forgotten about it. My mother must have found it and placed it in the trash.
In a span of 20 minutes, this toy […]
Bloody Nails
Out of the blue, I decided to give myself a quick pedi this afternoon.
Later, as my son and I were playing on our bed, he suddenly stopped in his tracks when he noticed the nailworks.
“You have bloody nails! It’s color red!”
After examining my nails closely, he looked up and demanded loudly: “Why did you color […]
Matt-ering About An Image
I showed this image (above) to my son to find out what he thought of this one. And we had this conversation.
Matt: The baby is crying.
Me: Why is the baby crying?
Matt, sounding rather smug: Because his Papa is sitting, watching TV.
Huh? I didn’t quite get his logic there.
Me, trying again: But why is the baby […]
