On our bed these days is the book entitled Noah and the Ark by Nick and Clair Page (illustrations by Helen Parrott). This is one of my cousin’s Christmas gift to Matt and my son only found the joy in reading it lately.
And here is Matt’s favorite part:
There were…
Monkeys, newts, okapis, pandas,
Quaggas, roosters, salamanders,
Toads, Umbrella bird, voles, wallaroo,
Xemes and yaks and two zebu!
I have no clue but the last two lines would make him burst into childish laughter.
