English Matt-erings
Somehow, I have gotten used with the fact that Matt refers to himself in the third-person.
For example, he’d say:
“That is Matt’s ball.”
“Matt is playing.”
Or “Matt wants to eat.”
And yes, always in proper noun. I had taught him to use the personal pronoun in the first-person (I) without much success. He’d use it […]
I Didn’t Think I’d Hear Him Say…
Matt was playing with my father early this morning while I was preparing for our breakfast.
When I was done I called my son in. My father also prodded my son to go have breakfast with me.
To my surprise, Matt refused while saying: “I don’t like Mama.”
And again repeated, “I don’t like you Mama” […]
